What helped you get where you are now?
Growing up as a competitive soccer player, sports are what really inspired me to be where I am today. Specifically, sports taught me the importance of hard work, teamwork, and self-motivation to be better and do more. These characteristics I believe helped shape my character off the field in my personal and professional life. As a result, I also knew I wanted to use my passion for sports in the sports industry which has led me to my position today.
What's the best thing about your current position?
I am so grateful and excited that I get to work for an organization that I am passionate about. As a lifetime fan of the Redskins, I am in a role where I get to share my passion with existing and new season ticket holders. Being able to build and maintain relationships with clients is extremely rewarding since I enjoy interacting with people. I am most excited to interact with our clients over the phone, at games, and our Redskins events. Of course, going to games to be part of the game day experience is something incredibly special about my job; football Sunday’s are going to be more exciting than ever! #HTTR

My advice for those in the job search process is to be persistent with employers. There’s so many people applying for the same job as you, so you have to show you are determined, passionate, and that you want it. Those are things employers can’t necessarily teach you but want to see. I learned those characteristics are often much more important than your major and GPA (not to say those aren’t important). In my experience, I’ve found that character is what stands out most, so don’t be afraid to show it.
With authenticity, passion, and determination there are no boundaries to success!
