What helped you get where you are now?
My work experience helped me the most. I’ve worked since the age of 15 and that brings many hardships and challenges at a young age. It showed me work ethic and professionalism, which I have used to my advantage moving through my college years. Professor Morris’ Special Topics of Marketing class was the class that showed me how to work and run a website effectively. This class and her great teaching style gave me the opportunity to learn many things about marketing and affecting people in the right way.
What's the best thing about your current position?
The number one thing that excites me about my position is opportunity. The opportunity of meeting great people, creating fantastic relationships, and knowing that I’m helping people in furthering their careers is what means everything to me. I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for assuring that my peers are happy and that’s what makes me happiest.
Please share a quick job search tip with our viewers.
I would say that having a smile and asking questions is most important. You’ve got to have a great attitude wherever you go and you have to ask questions because your future employers would like to know you’re curious about your job. Talk to your professors, fellow students, and coworkers. Additionally, show your passion wherever life takes you. Try not to procrastinate, get your work done early and then you can have your fun!
